What is Clicker Training?- Clicker Training is an exciting way of communicating and training with your dog. The clicker is used to mark the exact moment your dog is doing the desired behavior, which will be followed by a reward. The clicker can be used to train desired behaviors, or change unwanted behaviors. Clicker training has been used on marine animals for years and is proven to be the most effective way to communicate with your dog. Clicker training can be used with various training methods, such as, lure and reward, shaping, capturing, and conditioning. These training methods have been scientifically proven to produce fast and effective results.

What's Included in Your Training Services? - ClearMark Clicker Training offers in-home pet training that provides personal coaching for the busy owners who appreciate convenience, focused-training, flexible scheduling and effective results. Training services include the following
- Free half hour consultation at initial meeting.
- In-Home visits of approximately one hour.
- Personalized written plans with detailed instructions.
- One-on-One professional coaching with your pet.
- Homework assignments.
- Free email support.
- Free phone consultation for the duration of training.
How Many Training Sessions Will I Need?- At our initial consultation, we will discuss the issues you wish to address. At that time, we will recommend a specific number of sessions to accomplish those goals. In general, most common behavior problems can be addressed in one session. However, some of the more complex behavioral issues may take more sessions. Regardless, it is our mission to help achieve your goals in the least amoun of time.
Do You Offer Group Training Sessions?- At this time, we currently do not offer group classes. If you know of someone else with a dog that needs training, we will be more than happy to accomodate you and train together. In the future, we are looking to expand and offer group classes at that time.
What Areas Do You Service? - We currently serve the Metro Detroit Area. Our service area includes the following counties: Oakland, Ingham, Genessee, Macomb, and Wayne Counties. You can view a map of our service area here.
